Equipment: Our Final Cut Pro editing systems are state of the art and our broadcast equipment is tech tested and rock solid.

Experience: We've handled most post production jobs - from museum installations to network sizzle reels to on-air promos and web content. Our custom tailored approach will fulfill all of your post production needs.

John Bardsley - President/Senior Producer

John Telescopic founder John Bardsley opened his own shop In January of 2010 after years of success as a freelance producer and editor. With nearly two decades of high-profile experience under his belt, Bardsley had the foundation in place to lay the groundwork for the cool, creative studio environment of Telescopic.

Before working independently, JB gained valuable experience with several New York based film and network outfits, including Showtime. While working at Showtime, John honed his producing and editing skills cutting their on-air promotions amongst other content.

Originally from Boston, JB started at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in Media Services. There he gained production experience working with C-Span as well as live sports broadcasts with the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins.

After moving to New York in 1995, and unveiling Telescopic in late 2010, the rest is history.

Brittany Kaplan - Editor

BrittanyBrittany Kaplan joined Telescopic as an editor in 2011, after working as an editor and assistant editor on a wide variety of shows for A&E, History, USA Networks, The Travel Channel, and PBS, as well as web promos.

BK fell in love with editing when she was 13 years old, using a VCR and the pause button to edit a feature-length movie for her mother's birthday. After participating in an NYU Tisch filmmaking program in high school,  she became a videographer and editor of a youth empowerment nonprofit in her hometown of Amherst, MA for five years. While studying Media Studies and History at Vassar College, she worked as a video consultant in the library's media center, collaborating with students and professors on educational uses for video.

Outside of work, BK enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and the violin. She is very excited to be part of the Telescopic team!
